Breast Cancer Awareness Month – October 2024
At Scents by the Bay, we are excited to announce the launch of our “Giving Back” initiative, starting with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To support the cause, we’ve created a special Goat Milk Soap and Body Wash in an exclusive blend featuring notes of Lavender, Green Tea, and Lemongrass, along with aromatherapy bracelets in various styles—all designed to show support for breast cancer awareness. We are proudly donating 100% of the profits from these items to Flat Out Love, honoring two of our owner Tarah’s best friends—one who lost the battle to breast cancer and one who is thriving as a survivor today.

Flat out Love empowers individuals post-breast amputation by fostering mental health and body acceptance due to illnesses such as breast cancer and encourages the normalization of living life FLAT.
How They Came To Be
Flat Out Love came to fruition when our Founder (Sears) decided that there could never be too much Representation and Community in the Flat world. She wanted to bring as many Flatties together as possible in one location of which Flat out on Flat Top was born.
With the help of Bobbie Mathews & Meg Krause; Flat Out on Flat Top became the biggest meetup on record of Flatties from all over the world. From Mexico to Canada and beyond! We had Influencers, a Massage Therapy Learning Session, Live Music sung beautifully by Bianca Muniz, a Flashion Show and the wonderfully talented Photographer Charise Isis graced us with the opportunity to host several sessions throughout the weekend for The Grace Project.
