At Scents by the Bay, we work with specialists to create perfume oils inspired by your favorite designer fragrances—without any alcohol or water. These oils last longer both in the bottle and on your skin, all at a fraction of the cost of the scents from the department stores. Don’t see the scent you’re looking for? PRIVATE APPOINTMENTS

Looking to create your own perfume or essential oil blend? You can book a private appointment with either the guidance of our Master Blender / Owner, Tarah, who has over 18 years of experience in blending, or a standard appointment with our capable staff. Available for 1-9 people, these unique experiences include the history of perfumes, information about perfume families, blending techniques and guidance in creating your own custom blend.

$60+ per person, experience takes 45 minutes to 1.5 hours
Private appointments may be purchased on our website (paid in full), or over the phone (50% deposit, balance due at appointment), and need to be scheduled in advance.

Book Your Standard Appointment

SCENT MATCHING

Do you have an old scent, or your own own custom blend crafted from another company that you can’t find anymore? You can bring (or ship!) in a sample of the fragrance, and our Owner will attempt to match it for you! This service can take up to 2 weeks, (depends on season), and you’ll receive 4 samples to choose from. Then 10% off the any size for your final creation.

$45 per scent to match (+ shipping if you’re not local)
Note, scents are unique and often difficult. We will do our best, and haven’t had one we have “missed” yet, but please note, there are no guarantees.
